Why Choose TreeBuddy

COMPARE TREEBUDDY TO OTHER DESIGNS

TreeBuddy is an innovative tree watering system that takes a unique, proven approach to newly planted tree watering.

While there are few competitors on the market, there is one primary competitor that also uses a watering bag system and takes a similar approach. The competitor’s watering bag system is less efficient, requiring more time, effort, and continuous hands-on attention, in order to properly water your tree. It can sometimes require multiple bags depending on the tree size and may require water refills twice per week.

TreeBuddy’s proven time-saving design provides the correct amount of water for your tree, lasting at least one week, with no additional effort or attention required when setting up as directed.

TREEBUDDY: MORE EFFECTIVE AND EFFICIENT

Setup and Water Monitoring

When setting up your TreeBuddy system, simply follow the step-by-step instructions

Immediately after setup, you simply fill the TreeBuddy bag with water, and you are all set for a minimum of one to two weeks. You only refill as needed when the TreeBuddy bag is empty.

With the competitor product, you have several other steps after the initial product is setup.  See below:

When filling up the bag with water:

      • At first, you can only fill up the bag to ¼ capacity.
      • Then, you have to lift up the partly filled bag so the bottom can expand.
      • Then, you can fill the rest of the bag with water.
      • Once set up, you have to refill bags every 5-7 days.
      • Despite refilling the bags every 5-7 days, the bag empties within 5-9 hours.
      • The product claims that this quick emptying is okay because the ground is soaked enough for 5-7 days. However, research has proven that wrong and TreeBuddy correct that idea.

    Root Growth

TreeBuddy promotes root growth for the first two weeks of using the system. This is because TreeBuddy allows for even and natural water distribution to the growing tree over time.

    TreeBuddy

        • By refilling only 7 times, within 3 months, your tree will have 175 gallons of water.
        • Inserting 2 pinholes into the tree, water can filter its way through the roots.
        • This allows for continued root growth and not just “digging”.

The competitor product only promotes root growth for the first day of using their system. This may be attributed to the fact that the competitor product forces too much water onto the tree too quickly.

    Competitor Product

        • Refilling 24 times, within 3 months, the tree will have 348 gallons of water.
        • This is a lot of water that is not soaking deep into the roots, but instead pushing oxygen out of the roots and sitting on the ground as wanted irrigation.
        • Treegator is designed for digging trees
